Lauren is one of AgriSompo’s field adjusters. Across the country, adjusters meet insureds when a season has taken an unexpected turn. They bring crop knowledge and policy expertise directly to the farm and serve as a resource for farmers during their most challenging moments.
Lauren has worked as a field adjuster for seven years. The role requires a deep understanding of crops, policies and claims procedures, along with the ability to adapt to changes in the industry. Her days take her from farm to farm, with calls to insureds and agents and claim documentation in between.
On this visit, Lauren walks the rows, takes measurements and records what she finds. She also listens to the insured, who knows how the field has looked throughout the season and what changed. Together, those details help her build a clearer picture of the damage.
Leaving the field does not mean the work is done. Lauren still has to turn what she saw and heard into a clear record, even as other calls and claims compete for her attention.
