AgriSompo advocates for crop insurance in Washington, D.C.

AgriSompo team members recently traveled to Washington, D.C., where they engaged with more than 45 congressional offices on both sides of the aisle. They discussed farm bill priorities and advocated for policies that support farmers, agents and the continued strength of the federal crop insurance program.

One of AgriSompo’s fundamental initiatives is driving the industry forward and protecting the federal crop insurance program. During their time in Washington, D.C., the team lobbied for these priorities alongside numerous members of the House of Representatives who support agriculture and help advance the farm bill.

The Washington event served as a capstone for the Leadership Development Program hosted by the Crop Insurance and Reinsurance Bureau (CIRB). Two AgriSompo team members, Audrey Carls and Aaron Larson, were invited to participate in this highly requested program alongside 12 other crop insurance professionals.

Throughout the program, Audrey and Aaron sharpened their leadership skills, engaged in networking opportunities and prepared to become effective advocates of the crop insurance program.

Aaron and Audrey celebrate the completion of the CIRB Leadership Development Program in Washington, D.C.

Please join us in congratulating Audrey and Aaron on this achievement!
