As we look ahead to the 2027 reinsurance year (RY) that begins July 1, 2026, please take a moment to review and complete the requirements below in advance of endorsement activity.
Completing these items early will help prevent delays once the reinsurance year begins.
2027 RY livestock requirements
- Training completed for LRP, LGM, DRP or Experienced.
- Active/valid exam completed for each plan of insurance.
- Agency and agent licensed in the state in which the livestock policies are written.
- Agency Non-Disclosure Agreement on file.
- Conflict of Interest completed for all agents writing endorsements for RY 2027.
- Livestock Commission Agreement on file.
Helpful notes
- Live webinar trainings have been scheduled; recorded sessions will be posted in Saba the following week.
- Experienced livestock agents who cannot attend live training will automatically be assigned the course in Saba.
- If an exam is expired—or missing after AgriSompo training—you will be automatically enrolled in the applicable exam through Saba.
- A missing Livestock Commission Agreement will not prevent endorsements from being bound, but it should be completed for the current crop year.
How to verify you’re ready
In AgriNet, open any livestock policy (or policies if you write multiple plans) and hover over the yellow exclamation point to view any missing items.
