Billy Moore Named Southeast Region RVP

We are pleased to announce that Billy Moore will assume the role of Regional Vice President for AgriSompo North America's Southeast Region, effective immediately.

Billy joined AgriSompo North America in May of 2021 as our Senior Vice President of Agency Management. At this time, he will continue in that role while drawing upon his long tenure in crop insurance and specific experience to strengthen our operations in the Southeast.

A graduate of Auburn University, Billy brings more than twenty-five years of crop insurance leadership and risk management experience to his new role. His background in the industry includes loss adjusting, sales and marketing, training, and general operations.

As Regional Vice President, he will work closely with his counterparts across the country, senior leaders, and our Southeast Region employees and agents to enact an effective and adaptive regional marketing strategy. We are grateful to benefit from his knowledge and leadership.

Billy has expressed excitement about working in the area. He said, “the Southeast is my home; these agents, farmers, and employees are not just numbers to me.” In addition to revisiting his roots, he is excited to unify the regional team. He feels they deserve a leader who will be in the trenches with them and help them knock down any roadblocks they encounter.

With a focus on recruiting and developing new industry leaders and applying his industry knowledge to helping agents reach their full risk management potential, Billy Moore is ready to get to work for the Southeast region.

Jake Chamness Named Assistant RVP

We are also pleased to announce that Jake Chamness has accepted the role of Assistant Regional Vice President of the Southeast region and will work alongside Billy Moore, Regional Vice President, to further build AgriSompo North America’s strength in the Southeast.

A longtime resident of Lexington, Kentucky, Jake received his Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural economics from the University of Kentucky. He previously served as our Southeast Regional Operations Manager and performed admirably in that role. Jake has a great passion for agriculture. Prior to joining crop insurance, he spent time working at horse racing farms and row crop operations.

We are proud of the work Jake has already done for the Southeast Region and we look forward to seeing how he can positively impact operations in your area in the future.
