Congratulations to the Q3 Winners of the Silver Circle Award

AgriSompo continues to challenge our team members to provide the highest possible levels of service to our customers. We also ask employees and agent customers to provide feedback about who in the company is doing great customer service work. Out of a multitude of nominations this quarter came three clear winners.

Please read below for interviews with the Silver Circle Award winners for the third quarter of 2025.

Ashley Hansen, Underwriter Team Lead for the Southeast Region

Ashley Hansen defines excellent customer service as the ability to begin and end each interaction in a positive and helpful way. As underwriter team lead for AgriSompo’s Southeast region, she focuses on clear communication, genuine understanding and timely resolutions to build trust and loyalty with every customer.

What sets Ashley apart is her commitment to active listening. “I put the customer’s needs first and listen to understand, not just to respond,” she says. This approach helps her assess each situation and offer the best solution. She’s also known for her consistency and dependability—always answering the phone, returning emails and following up. “It builds trust and reassurance, which helps strengthen the relationship.”

Ashley’s motivation is personal. Her grandparents once lost their farm, and that experience gave her a deep passion for agriculture. “It’s a special lifestyle that few people get to experience,” she explains. “I know my role supports the American farmer’s ability to keep farming year after year, generation after generation.” That purpose drives her to hold herself to a high standard, especially during challenging moments.

Her advice for others? “Always answer the phone with a smile. It sets the tone for a warmer, more encouraging conversation.” She even suggests trying it out loud (with and without a smile) to hear the difference.

Emily Chamberlain, Senior Agency Services Analyst

For Emily Chamberlain, excellent customer service is all about going the extra mile. She believes in anticipating customer needs, offering more information than expected and communicating clearly and cheerfully. As a senior agency services analyst, Emily brings that mindset to every email, phone call and interaction, building trust through responsiveness and positivity.

Emily’s natural curiosity and analytical thinking set her apart. “I’m inquisitive and a critical thinker,” she says. “These attributes help me resolve issues and provide clear, thoughtful solutions.” Her ability to listen closely and respond with care makes her a go-to resource for customers and colleagues alike.

What motivates her most is the impact she makes. “The greatest reward comes from knowing I’ve provided our customers with the answers they needed,” she shares. “Hearing the genuine appreciation in their voice makes the effort truly worthwhile.”

Her advice for others? “Take the time to truly get to know your customers. Build strong relationships and always strive to go above and beyond. Avoid shortcuts and focus on understanding their needs at a deeper level.” And above all, she says, bring passion to your work. “Genuine enthusiasm is key to creating positive and memorable customer service experiences.”

Meghan Meyer, Senior Private Products Underwriter

Meghan Meyer defines excellent customer service simply: a great attitude and a willingness to help in the most professional way. As a senior private products underwriter, she brings that mindset to every interaction, making sure customers feel supported and set up for success.

What sets Meghan apart is her positivity. She shows up with a helpful attitude and a genuine desire to make sure people have what they need. “I enjoy helping people,” she says. “I want to make sure they have a great experience every time I talk to them.”

Even when things get tough, Meghan stays steady. “Sometimes you just put a smile on your face and help them no matter what,” she explains. “You never know what’s happening on the other end of the line. Keep that uplifting attitude and it will rub off.”

Her advice for others? “Try to keep that great attitude up. If you have that, you’ll succeed in life and in your work.”
